Privacy
What we collect, why, and who can see it. Member privacy is the point of the platform, not an afterthought.

What we collect
Your account (name, email), the profile you choose to share (home base, a short bio, a photo), a phone number used only to complete introductions, which community you belong to, and, when you pay dues, a payment record from Stripe. We never receive your full card number.
How we use it
To run your community, make introductions, process dues, keep the platform secure, and send you email tied to your membership (confirmations, a welcome, and messages you ask for).
Who can see your information
Members of your community can see your profile. Your phone number is shared only with the other party to an introduction, and only once you've both agreed. Your community's operators can see their members' details to run the community. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Processors we rely on
We use a small set of providers to operate: Supabase (database and sign-in), Resend (email), and Stripe (payments). They handle data on our behalf under their own terms; we share only what each needs to do its job.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your information while you're a member and as needed for legal and accounting reasons. Ask us to access or delete your data at hello@coterion.com and we'll act on it.
Security
Access is scoped so a community sees only its own members, sensitive fields like phone numbers are withheld until an introduction is agreed, and the platform is regularly reviewed for security. No system is perfect, but member privacy is a first-order concern.
Sessions and cookies
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. We don't run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Contact
Questions about privacy, or a request about your data: hello@coterion.com.
A working draft, kept in plain language. It describes how Coterion operates today and should be reviewed by counsel before the platform takes real dues or admits members at scale.
